1. The Ambassadors Group Leadership and experience. 

The Founder of The Ambassadors Group is Mark Helsel. He has been successfully helping young athletes move on to college and professional baseball since 2006. Over that period of time over 1,000 players have realized their dream of playing at the next level with the assistance of Mark. If you're looking for experience, credibility and connections to help you along your journey, you have found it. 

In 2006 Mark formed a travel baseball team with a group of talented 13U players. Three short years later (21) players from his first team earned D1 scholarships, including his son, Christian, who earned a scholarship to Ole Miss. 

From that early success Mark began to form more teams, all based on the same theme of helping players on an individual level. Mark's travel baseball programs evolved over the years. By 2014 Mark's program was widely recognized as one of the most respected college placement programs in the country. 

From 2006-2022 Mark personally helped 1,000+ players achieve their dream of playing college and/or professional baseball. 

Mark’s son, Zack, also earned a D1 scholarship at UCF. 

With a proven formula for success as documented by so many players moving on to the next level it was a very logical decision for Mark to form his own private consulting agency for young players and their parents. In Mark's own words he describes the vision behind the service. "When I was the director of a large national travel program I was only able to help our players. I saw many, many talented players on other teams getting no help whatsoever from their coaches or travel programs. There were just playing baseball and hoping for something good to happen. Unfortunately, that's an extremely low percentage way to try to get to the next level. Simply put, I wanted to help more kids.  

Today, The Ambassadors Group is a successful faith based Full Service Amateur Sports Agency servicing talented players and their families in all 50 states. 

Our core services center around mentoring and guiding young baseball players, and their parents, through the journey (wilderness) of their baseball career, specializing in development and the recruiting process. 

We call it Personalized Career Management (PCM). In many ways we are “life coaches” to our clients. This is a vast and complex process that involves many aspects of their journey. We have identified FIVE key areas to help our clients;  physical, mental, spiritual, educational and social. Our coaching is unique and individualized. No two players, or parents are the same. 

Therefore, our offer is a highly personalized experience.  Everything we do is based on building a close relationship with our clients. We are highly involved in their lives and strive to help them in many areas of their development.
